Hello,
I currently have a T616 and I was thinking about getting the HBH-60. Is there anybody out there that is using the HBH-60 and T616 together and are you having any problems?

Thanks

I use the T610(Im in Australia afterall..) with the 60, and have nothing but praise or the combination, good 10 meter range-the batt life is not the best, but charging is quick.
voice prompt is fast and reliable.
The small size and weight of the HBH-60 pushed me towards the combo.
(will get HBH-35 soon, cos the black looks better..!)

Hi, I'm using an HBH-60, not with a 610 but with my T68i, and so far it's been excellent, pairing up with no problems and works fine every single time. Audio quality is good, overall highly recommend the 60 if you can afford it

I use the T610 with the HBH60. Had connection problems with the older firmware on the T610 (R1A) but this was rectified with the firmware upgrade (R1L). Highly recommend the HBH60 though, small, light and great looking. Mine can fully charge in about an hour.

I have just upgraded my T610 to R1L and it seems that the connection with the HBH-60 is better. Before it was R1A and the connection was lost all the time.

JF1972, that's what my Bluetooth connection used to do, last about 5 seconds then drop the call back to the phone. How annoying is that when the phone is in the glovebox of the car and you're bombing along the motorway. Firmware upgrade sorted it though.
Just tested the range on the HBH60 / T610. Works fine at 10m from each other and doesn't drop the call. Splendid stuff

I have a T616 with updated (R1B027) firmware, and recently got a HBH-60 BT headset.

Setup was OK... problem is, the "link" between the two keeps getting disconnected.

Anyone else experience this? Is this a known incompatibility with the R1B firmware ??

No, this is no problem. This is a benefit of the new FW (believe it or not). When you have your bluetooth on your phone on, the connection doesn't stay. However, when you place or receive a call, as long as your bluetooth's on, it will check to see if you have a paired handsfree, and if that is nearby. This was changed from the older FW to save battery, rather than unnecessarily keeping bluetooth on and paired.

You're saying this is NOT a problem? The inability to hold a connection for more than 5 seconds ?

The 2 times I tried to use it, it "dropped" the connection while I was on a call... NOT a "benefit" in my opinion.

phone: T616 at R1B027
headset: HBH-60 at R1A

You didn't mention that it was dropping calls. You just said that the connection kept disconnecting. You should have been more specific. By the way, it is not supposed to stay connected to the phone (indicated by the Blue Headset icon on the phone) until a call comes in. I don't know why the call is being dropped, though.
