Because of the damn freezes on my T310 I had R3B rewritten twice on the handset and consequently had 2 Master Resets (both settings & all). The funny thing is that the MMS settings are still there, as is the nickname from chat. One must wonder - where the hell are those settings stored and why on earth are they not resetted like everything else. Anyone had a similar experience? Is there a good explanation for this?

i kinda had the same experience. when i sent my old t68 into ericsson to flash it to a t68i it still had my highscores saved. they couldn't give me an answer why.

When getting a firmware upgrade with EMMA, some of your settings should stay intact. In most cases it wont overwrite your contacts and settings.

The only phone that I know EMMA formats everything is the P800.
