I haven't been to this site for ages (check my profile) and look at it now!
All shiny!!
I've not had a T68 for a while now, I replaced it in November 2002 after having it repaired numerous times for a sticking 0 key and a non-operative 1 key.
Eventually I got a new one (replaced out of warranty

) and I sold it as a brand new phone! Which it was!
I moved onto a Panasonic GD87 (got bored of waiting for the P800) which is great! But my contract is up in December and I'm looking to upgrade!
I'm a bit

at the moment as far as new phones go, but I have looked at the T610 with interest and also the SL55.
What do you guys reckon??
I'm not too fussed about bluetooth as I have no compatible devices and synching with my PC is a feature I probably would not use!
I definitely want a cameraphone and I would like the picture quality to be equal or better than the GD87.
Any suggestions?

Oh, did I forget to mention that I hate Nokias and everything that they represent...
Sorry

If you were upgrading now, then it would be worth asking but DECEMBER ! 4 months is a million years in the mobile industry.

That is true Pachy, but I thought as it was with the P800, there would be a pre-list of phones which are expected soon.
As I say, I'm not really up to speed with mobile stuff ATM

Well according to heavy gossip, the p900/p810 will be here before xmas, (p800 with more of a quality look).

Thanks exodus, I like the look of the Panasonic X70, and it would be similar in style to my GD87, which i like!
The Siemens looks
Not so sure about Motorolas, have they fixed the stupid menu system they used to use? It looks a nice phone.

Thing I hate about the Motorolas is the dial/hang-up (yes/no) buttons are the wrong way round from everybody else.
The T610 is good.
The x70 looks good on the inside, but a bit of a limp-wristed girly phone from the outside.
AFAIK, the GD87 pics are screen resolution (132 x 176) so any other phone will take bigger pics. But remember that many pics look a bit crap on screen as they are shruck to fit the screen. So I reckon the GD87 will be hard to beat, even by the x70.
I'm keeping my eye on the Nokia 6600. Although it's heresy, it does pack ever feature, isn't crippled (eg. Infrared file sharing) has a good screen, VGA camera and (finally!) an ordinary keyboard.
