Hi,

I have a T300 and have downloaded hotmail popper (a program that turns hotmail into a pop3 account) from www.boolean.ca and have read ALL topics here on it and the help file that comes with it (so please dont tell me to !) but still can't get it to work. It just says "Finding server" and then after approx. 1:20 sec it hangs up saying server not found. I have tried conncting to it through a normal e-mail program (Outlook Express 6) and it works perfect on that. Have also checked, double checked and triple checked the settings but STILL no luck!

Mobile: SE T300
Network: Virgin Mobile UK
Connect Using: Virgin Mobile WAP Service

Please can someone help me on this?

Thanks in advance...

I can't help you on this, but if you can't get this to work you could maybe use MyMail (search for it at this site)… It allows you to access Hotmail via WAP. Good luck anyway! This message was posted from a WAP device

i am not 100% sure but with a lot of these programs you cant connect using your wap settings you have to use your gprs internet or your dail up interenet via your t300
try that and seee if it works

@MaThIbUs

Cheers for the very quick reply

I've already got a account with them, V.V.V. Handy for just checking mail but I want to send pics via email.

That will be the day when Virgin Mobile support GPRS and MMS! Unless there are any GPRS providers that support people on Virrgin Mobile, I'm stuck!

Thanks Again...

Hi,

A couple more questions about this subject...

1. Would changing my WAP Gateway or WAP Service Provider change anything?

2. What IP address do I use on my phone. My PC's or Hotmail Poppers one?

Thanks Again
