Hi. Next week I'm going to buy a t610. I've heard that early versions had somthing like... hissing problem. And also there was something wrong with bluetooth (audio, I think). Please tell me how can I check if the one I'm buying is ok... How does the hissing sound like? Maybe I can check the hardware revision? Tell me everything I can do to check if it's ok!!! If I buy this phone - there is no turning back. And I don't want to go straight to the service point
.
By the way - what does SE service points do with the hissing t610 phones?

Answers to the most common questions on Esato Forums (FAQ style) for a start but basically if you're buying a new T610 now you need not worry about hissing. The BT audio problem you refer to is a crackle in the headset but the latest firmware R1L013 reduces this quite significantly.

check the manufacturing date.
if it's 03W20 and earlier (that's week 20 of 2003) then dont get it. i believe week 20 units are the last batch that had hissing in them.
