@alanranch, there is an accept call option (settings -> call options -> accept calls) but i think what you wanted is in reverse, i.e., barred list.

You could upload a silent ring tone to your phone, create phonebook entries for the people you don't want to hear from and set that as the personal ringtone for those callers.

Yeah thats the best way to do it! Thats what I used to do on my old 6110 just assign the idiots to a caller group of their own and set the phone not to ring for them

Alanranch:

To input negative sign, just press & hold the * button.

To assign silent ringtones, you don't have to upload. Just go to Settings> Sounds&Alerts> My Melodies then choose any melody you're not using and erase the notes (leave it blank). Go back to Sound&Alerts> Ring Signals> Personal Rings> Add New then add the names of the persons you want to silence from your phonebook. Then highlight each name & press YES, select EDIT and then assign the blanked My Melody as ringtone.

unwanted callers- hmm nice solution

but u know sometimes u receive a call from a person too stupid to dial the correct number and this recurs.... i just add the person to a new contact that i make...i have named the contact "reject call".... then the next time someone calls from that number you can reject the call outright... balls to what the other person thinks...
