Here's the story. My boss has a 3650 and when I search for devices on my T610 it comes up with new device found 'Nokia 3650' and then it asks for a pass key so I type in 0000. I know its the generic password for all Sony Ericsson's but does it work with Nokia's too or do they have a different pass key?

Once I type on 0000 it searches again, and then after a while it says connection failed.

Can anyone help me?

Are you searching for devices to pair with? Thats the only reason I know that it should ask you to provide a pass key. If you just want to bluejcack you don't need to pair with the other device.

from memory, Nokia default code is 1234 or 12345 but you shouldn't need it.

Massuer can you explain how I do it then plse with my T610.

Actually I think I've figured it out. Go to My Card and then send via bluetooth. Then it searches for devices and then the Nokia appears, but still the connection fails and he's only a couple of metres away from me.

dude, if all u wanna is the 3650, then the passkey will not be needed...the passkey is required only when u wanna pair your device with another enabled device.......i dun know the nokia passkey *for obvious reasons that i dun use nokias*

if u wanna it, i'll 1st recommend that you name your handset with a name that cannot be easily associated with the user...on mine, it shows as "numero/uno".

do a search and proceed to send the nok a contact, sms, note, pix etc....however, with the 3650, it'll depend on ya luck.....as the 3650 by default will require the user to accept the stuff being sent over...it helps if u hit the user at the same time he's lookin at the phone.....they'll prolly accept it outta curiosity.....i've 3650 in this manner....the unsuccessful times were when i did not know where the user is and hence, cud not time the attempt....

good luck mate!!!
