you use the LEFT SOFTKEY to call someone, so its "calling" then "connecting", at this stage the RIGHT SOFTKEY is to cancel/end call.
when the other person picks up, magically its now the LEFT SOFTKEY which ends the call, and the RIGHT SOFTKEY is for the menu.
when you press a number on the keypad during a call, it changes once again so that the RIGHT SOFTKEY ends the call! and the left changes to send/call.
apologies if i'm just picky, but why can't they stick with just one key to end call!!!! like the t68's handy NO button.
the confusion really gets in the way when youre pranking someone and such,
also when i've finished a (conversational not pranking) call, i need to look at my phone for a few seconds to remember which button is to hang up.
anyway, thats my iddy biddy annoyance. feel free to comment.
oh and another thing, i dropped my phone for the first time last night on a sorta lyno flooring, got 5 scratches.. gutted..

i must have an odd t610 cos the end call stays on the right and the start call stays on the left no swaping about.
left soft key changes to hold when in call and changes to retrive when caller on hold
right soft key stays on end call

yeah mines stays the same, left soft key to answer and right to end call, ur fone must be weird, or mines is...... maybe its to due the the 03w23 thing, what is urs, cos mines is 03w23.

mines 03w24.. im doubting they decided to make them more complicated in the newer phones.

I never seen end call anywhere else then on the right softkey its there all the time for me when in a call. (simfree w26)

i own a t616 and mine stays the same as well. maybe your particular handset is jacked up. is it still under warranty? take it in to a service center and have them give you a new one.
