Hi im new here hope u can help me
im thinking about getting a T610 but i would like to know a few things first
1. whats the camera quality like? and can u edit the pic e.g frames negative etc or is there a darkness setting?
2.screen quality?
3.is there a speakerphone? and can u use voice recordings as ringtones?
4. ringtone quality? do u know how many chords? and which other phone would u compare the quality to?
cheers for ur time hopefully ill be a T610 owner soon 2

1. The quality is decent enough for a mobile phone camera. The pictures look OK on the phone screen, and that's the whole point... You can adjust shutterspeed/saturation before you take a picture.
2. The screen is great. A little weak in the sunlight, but all color screens are that way...
3. There is no speakerphone, and you can't use voice recordings as ringtones
4. 32 note polyphony, which is very good. The sound is fantastic

you can't beat the screen quality, 64k colors! compare that to other phones. also the camera has effects such as sepia, negative, black and white and has a night mode. speaker phone wasn't even an option that i considered. speaker phone on one hand, bluetooth, infra red, mms, gprs, java, mophun and so forth on the other.

T68 and this seemed like the logical step forward.
The camera is good for a phone, both on screen and downloaded to a PC. Saying that, if you want good digital photos buy a digital camera, a phone can never compete with a stand alone camera.
The screen is superb, 65000 colours make viewing photos a breeze.
It has no speaker phone but from expereince they're not that good anyway.
I've had bad experiences with poly ringtones in the past, not being loud enough and sounding pretty dull. The
T610 sounds very good. Lot's of depth to the tones and can be quite loud.
All in all, a good buy I think

The phone is great but I was disappointed of the screen quality. It is very hard to see the screen outdoors. The Sharp 10 Gxi and Panasonics GD87 have far more superior screen quality. You can’t read the screen at all when backlight is off (worked better on T68). The sound quality is good but low compared to other polyphonic phones (Nokia, Sharp etc).
The size is the best! It is unbeatably small and comfortable. The camera is not as good as in some bigger phones but works as a funny feature. The phone has no annoying lag times and works very well.

One question, I have the T68i and when i put the phone in jacket, or cover the antenna with the hand, the reception go down. It's the same with the T610?

Just tried that on my T610 and yes, my bars dropped from 4 to 3. Doubt it's a major problem though.

T610 screen outdoors. The Sharp and Panasoinc are better but eat loads more battery power. I find it's only direct sunshine on my
T610 screen that makes it hard to see. Do you want a screen that looks good in all conditions but eats up battery power or a screen that's only harder to see in direct sunlight and has a good battery life? Tough call
