Hi Everyone,

1) I just bought a P800 but the auto setup for GPRS does not seem to work. My friend says that you have to put in some numbers manually. How will this work?

2) And, Can you view email using yahoo through opera? what are the settings?

Thanks so much, hope you guys can help me.

GO P800 and send it to globe. i forgot the number. that's what i used.

i'm not sure with this one but, they say that you cannot use opera when using the wap setting of globe, however, you can use it using the internet setting.

for email settings if u have an existing email under ur isp
u can add an email account go to control panel--> messaging accounts--> click for email enter necessary details like username, password, incoming/ outgoing add, etc. plus change change ur apn add under internet accounts it should be internet.globe.com.ph take note it only works for postpaid sim as per globenet helpdesk

once you have sent "GO (model of phone)" ie. GO T310 ;;; send to 2951;;; you will receive two text msgs, first is to install gprs settings, then the second txt msg will prompt you to reply "yes", make sure u hit reply then type "yes", and it you will receive another notice to install MMS, hit yes, create new profile; that's simply it...

once you have receive these settings you may now use GPRS/MMS, to activate (send/receive) MMS, you have to send any MMS msg to any of your friends to activate it.... (all globe subscribers are provisioned with MMS) it will cost you p5.00 per MMS if your a prepaid subs like me.

Trying to re-setup my wife's T68 for MMS, GPRS and WAP over Globe. Is it still "GO T68" then sent to 2951?
