> Problems synching with Outlook 2003!
Bookmark topic
I'm having problems synching with outlook 2003 b2, has anyone else managed to get it to work?
When I run the synch program I get a message saying "No default mail client found" but Outlook 2003 b2 is set as my default.
Then when I try and synch it says initialising for ages and then I get a message saying "Synchronisation Aborted!.
Can anyone help?
Cheers,
Simon

notice he said b2
No it's not out yet, but damn it's good!
I am synching with it no problems (apart from it brings up the alert about a program trying to access the account)

Yeah, it wasn't too clear, I've added an extra b2 on the first line.
Even tho its a beta I've never had any problems with it apart from this synching!

I have been using office '03 for quite some time, and now beta 2, without any hitch.
I would suggest an un/re install of the SE software to solve your issues. There is a nice app called Regscrub XP (try google). after you uninstall, run this app, then reinstall. It will remove any keys that remain after the uninstall so you can start actually fresh.
On a side note, would it not be great if the phone and outlook synced the photos? For those of you who do not know, Outlook 2003 has a spot for photographs within each of the contacts. Iwould love this feature!
Good luck,
Tyson
