Hi i recently bought a data cable to transfer images etc to my t610 and vice versa ive tried all the software and still everything ive tried cant detect my t610. i have mobile phone monitor and all the se software from there support site and cant manage to get anything to detect my t610.
maybe i should try an infrared or bluetooth usb gadget i dunno
surely there must be some simpler software to use out there.
thanks in advance for any replies

I had the same problems first but the only thing i had missed was to do the connection "Wizard" from SonyEricsson.
You should have the wizard in your start-program meny

Hi. I have the same problem. I have just bought a USB datacable and am trying to get the handset manager software to work to upload my pics etc but it can't connect to the phone. I have managed to use the modem setup program and i can connect to the net and Microsoft Outlook has synchronised with the phone and uploaded my phonebook etc. Can't understand it - why won't it work? Someone help please! (In Layman's terms if poss!)

Buy a cheap IR or BT dongle instead. My BT whas cheaper than the USB cable just because of the brand.

I've connected the t610 with a switel BT. Connection works fine, BT serial connects on COM5, which I have enabled in the phone monitor.
However the xtndconnect cannot synchronize, and does not find any connection, and I never get the phone connection wizard as described in the help would be welcomed !! this is driving me crazy
