Hi,

Just bought my T610. When I receive an incoming call, a "telephone ring" tone is played followed by the polyphonic tone. Is this the normal behaviour for T610?

yes (sigh) it happens on the T610 too and there are numerous threads about it.

yeah, It says so on some SE FAQ, they call it an "electronic ring"... but its cool, it can prevent getting too much attention in places where there should be silence ^^

It is shit!

surely SE could have set it ascending as default and give the option to turn it off if you want, but just put in the manual that if you do turn it off you cant sue us for ear damage.
