you need to install the sony p800 software that you can get from se's site or the cd that came with your phone.
once you get that installed, you can connect your pc to your phone and select which items you want to sync (address, contacts, etc.)

are you trying to use outlook express or the full version outlook? i am not sure it works with express, someone else may have to answer that one.
on the data types page of your "sync station settings", there should be an option for MS Outlook.... if it isn't there, and you are using outlook full version, that means that the install of the sync software didn't find outlook properly.
u might try and uninstall the sync software and re-installing it to see if that works.

shit the microsoft outlook and windows adress book!!!! you can synchronize with them but later on when your phone needs all the numbers outlook and adress book only picks the number what they want to synchonize. example you have 6 number under one name house, office, garage, etc..... when u synchoronize with it only few numbers appear.

i already uninstalled the pc suit then reinstall it...but i got the same thing (just the adress book in the contact sync field)
i have just 1 number for each name...(this is not the prob)

Yeah watch out cos not only does it pick the numbers it wants, it sometimes deletes contacts from the phone AND the pc and won't let you restore the back up after - fcuking thing.

now i got a new prob...: i used to have nokia 8310 and before i sell it i took a coby of my contacts with Oxygen Phone Manager for Nokia 8310 v1.2>>>when i chose export phonebook to outlook >>then i open outlook but i just can find names without numbers>>and when i syinc to my p800 ,,nuthin happen,,just my 8 contacts in the phone appears in the full name section >>and in the file as section i can see all my contacts but i cant do anything with them>>>plz help
