I have a T616 on cingular and everytime I log on the net, it trys to connect via GPRS first before it dials to connect. Is there a way where I could connect and it would just dial instead of having to try and find a GPRS signal (as you can tell I'm not using GPRS for my WAP)? Thanks. Sorry if it sounds like a n00b question, but I haven't found an answer for it in the boards.

go to the "connectivity" menu

press 3 for "WAP options"

press 1 for " wap profiles"

then select the WAP GSM settings.

This way it will aways dial to GSM first
