After i copy from phone to SIM, all my name list in the SIM has been changed. For example, all the name got " /h " at the back ( John/h, Marry/h, Thomas/b ) where phone memory doesnt have this problem. Anyone here has the same problem with me?

my guess is /h is for home /b is for business (or work) and there is probably /m fdor mobile? I have never transferred like that so it is just a guess since the same name in the phone can have multiple numbers stored against it whereas the sim card cannot.

Yes... /h is for home, /m for mobile and etc. But if wont show in phone memory only in the SIM. Anywhere to avoid the phone change the name list on the sim?

@dovern Simply assign 1 phone # per entry! Ex. John1 - # Johnhauz - # Hope that works! This message was posted from a T68i

This is how i did, i always asign one number for one entry only. At first i copy all the entries from sim to phone, after i assign the position list, i copy the entire phone book from phone to sim, after that all the names in my sim card has /h at the back. Its really annoying for me..

I just bought my phone 2 days ago, dont really know how to use it yet. Just wondering any other T610 user have this problem?

That does not happen on my phone at all. I have several numbers for some entries but it still just gives the original phone name that i first gave it. This message was posted from a T68i

Even switching my sim from one T300 to another will still allow all 3 numbers per entry to come up just fine, they are encoded the same way on my sim it seems. Tis weird your T610 should not have any probs with that...

Why does this annoying you?? Its all like that when you copy to sim from phone memory, so that whenever you wanna use your sim card to other sony ericsson phones, when you copy sim to phone memory, the phone would allocate to correct home, mobile etc to that person !!
