is it possible to send ringtones themes etc via email from my pc to my t610? or can i only send pics?

You can't receive attachments with the t610's email client, so the answer to your question is no, not even pics (as you seem to think). You can either mms them, or upload them to a web/wap site and download from your phone. By far the easiest way is to buy a cheap IrDA/Bluetooth adaptor for your PC.

well i have a IRDA tower that connects via the serial port but no software to transfer the pics etc any help there?

I'm using a usb IrDA adaptor and I don't need any third party software. Windows does it all for me. In 'my computer', I simply right click on what I want to send, select send to, then infrared recipient.
