The new MS DuoPro cards just announced have raised the question about use in the upcoming Z1010(December launch),the images released to us so far show "Duo" on a cover to the top right of the unit, but no"pro" (as with all other Sony products that can handle the new pro spec cards),will this mean we will need to wait fora possible Z2020 before we can use a 512MB,or 1GB MSPRO DUO??!!,surely developers within the two departments(SE in Europe, and Media in Japan) would talk to each other about emerging formats?

It all depends on when the pro cards come out. He they come out before the z1010 them it might be put in the phone. This message was posted from a T68i

The pro cards will definitely be released before the z1010 is!! SonyEricsson don't want the same thing to happen, where the p800's max memory is 128mb.**

** ..Include at least 64mb cards into the z1010 retail package!! ..16mb isn't enough!!** --> Especially so, cause the z1010 will be a Highly-Capable, 3G/UMTS phone with great features + technology!!

memory stick duo, like memory stick, is limited to 128mb whereas the pro (for both) have a theoretical maximum of 32Gb!
