Its not hard to make a theme on a Mac. But you must do it manually. Themes are just renamed TAR files and on a Mac it's easy to make those type of archives. Change all the colors in XML file, eventually add pictures and then make a TAR archive. Now rename the ending from .tar to .thm and that's all.

@Ericssony
Do you have any plans to port your Theme Creator to Mac? Or would you be willing to release the source or parts of it to a suitable developer for them to port themselves?
I also wonder if you've looked at
RealBasic which would allow you to release your program for both Windows and Mac (soon Linux too!) from the same code. It will also convert VisualBasic projects to RealBasic format.
Just a thought!

@ericssony:
Cheers Mate
I heard that before and I tried it. I took an normal theme (wich is fine on my phone) and I just changed the pictures and the menubars. I tar'ed it and renamed it to .thm but it didn't work. What preferences do I have to use?
Compression Method:
StuffIt
BZip
GZip
Compression
None
Compression Level:
Maximum
Medium
Fast
Encode archive into UUCode format?
Since You seem to be a Tech-Wiz I hope you know exactly what to do
cheers

Go to the resources section of this site, then software for pc. They all say they're for windows, but one of the theme editors is for mac osx, does anyone here have the ability to convert it to os8.6? As i have no software at all for sending files, failing that could you tell me how to send pics/tones/games via my infra red port to my T300, or even make a script for me? Please?

@BOSSHOGG
Unfortunately that Mac Theme Editor is only for the T68i and appears to have ceased development a while ago. I emailed the author a few months back to ask if he was doing a T610/T300 etc. version but never recieved a reply...

@JoolsG3: To say the truth, I don't have plans to make a Mac version of TCPro. I have no possibilities to test or even program on a Mac.
Yes, I know RealBasic. But only the professional version can make executable for Windows and Mac and it's too expensive for me.
If you believe it or not: I to contacted the author of the Mac Theme Editor few months ago. But just as all of you I didn't get any reply. And I offered him help with tips and source code samples.
@JoyZ: TAR files cannot be compressed!
About TAR files (from TCPro's FAQ): TAR stands for "Tape ARchive". The name is derived from a time when files were commonly backed up on and occasionally retrieved from magnetic tape as a permanent storage device. TAR files are standard Unix TAR archives. The TAR archive format is an aggregation of a single or multiple files into a single archive, typically preserving the file dates, permissions and ownerships of each individual file or directory. Unlike the ZIP format, TAR archives are not inherently compressed.
Things you should remember:
because the phone doesn't recognize uppercase letters, don't use uppercase letters for file names,
color restrictions,
file format restrictions
You can read more about this
