I have uploaded pics for t68i, wich i used to have, but now i have T610, wich has a much better image quality and a greater color specter. But i still cant upload pics that have higher quality than the T68 ones... Why? or have i missed something here?

What do you mean? On T610 you have 65000 colors, so the image quality is much better (especially if you compair it to T68's 256 colors). However if you are uploading pics you used to have on T68, it's possible that they are optimized for T68 (colordepth down to 256 colors). In that case they will look about the same as they did on T68...

If you uploaded some jpg's, and they are not displaying on the phone, it's probably because they were saved in optimized format. T610 can only disply "Standart Baseline" jpgs.

I mean, when i had my t68i fone, i uploaded some pics, and now, i have t610, and when i upload pics, and d/l them via wap, they look like crap, i.e. t68i style, that's what i mean. And you know when u upload, you can choose what type of fone the logo should be uploaded to, but there is only T68 and a few others to choose from, not the t610... See? =)

Oh well, since you are downloading images made for T68, you have to expect the same quality as on T68, since those images are only 256 colors. Find some high color images and you will see the difference

But i do! I uploaded new images! But they are still just optimized for t68. I uploaded new hi color pics, but you know the upload page, next to the upload field, you have to choose the fone model... T610 isnt listed, so i have to pick t68 etc, you see?

I can't answer, I have never tried. Though when you upload your own picture, it should be downloaded to your phone exactly as uploaded (at least the same color depth).

Strange.... It only says:

From this page, you can upload your favourite picture or image and install it on your Ericsson or SonyEricsson phone by visiting our WAP site at wap.esato.com. Before you upload a logo, you must choose the phone model you want the image to be converted to. If you choose to use the uploaded logo on a T65, the image you upload will be converted to a grayscale logo with the correct dimentions for this phone model.

For Ericsson T68, SonyEricsson T68i and T300:

The image dimensions must not exceed 101 pixels in width or 80 pixels in height. If you upload a logo with wider dimentions, it will be scaled down to 101x80 pixels.
The file format is GIF. JPEG files uploaded will be converted to GIF format.
The file size must be less than 3000 bytes for the phone to accept it as a background, but we recommend that you try to keep it below 2720 bytes. Many old WAP gateways restrict you from downloading logos with larger size than 2720 bytes. Learn how you can reduce the image size here.
For T39:
The image dimensions must not exceed 73 pixels in width or 26 pixels in height. If you upload a logo with wider dimentions, it will be scaled down to 73x26 pixels.

The file size must be less than 1000 bytes, but you should try to keep it less than 600 bytes
The picture should be 4-scale greyscale (black, white and 2 shades of grey) or black and white. Your uploaded image will be converted to a grey scale logo.
For T65, R600 and R520:
The image dimensions must not exceed 73 pixels in width or 39 pixels in height. If you upload a logo with wider dimentions, it will be scaled down to 73x39 pixels.
The file format is GIF. JPEG files uploaded will be converted to GIF format.
The file size must be less than 1000 bytes, but you should try to keep it less than 600 bytes

That's why the images look so bad.
GIF is only 256 colors, so all the high color images you upload get converted to 256 colors. Additionaly the image size on T610 is 128x128 not 101X80, so the images also get shrunk.

My only advice is to find another WAP site, or invest in a Cable/IR/BlueTooth so that you can directly send the images from PC to phone
