Is it true that there is a 512mb duo card on sale…? Can anyone give me a definitive answer and some URL’s.

Before anyone tells me, I have had a look at the other threads.

Thanks…

Well lets all send an email to SE and bitch about it, and DEMAND!!! they update the firmware of the p800 to accomodate this killer duo card... maybe if they get enuf complaints they will do something about it, the last thing any company would want is a large group of people complaining about them hmmm?

All those in favour, say aeeeeeiiiiiiiii!!!!

What if it's a hardware limitation?

I don't think SE honestly care about whether duo pro's work in the p800. They never said it would support more than 128mb and they're making a new product which does.

It's not going to happen.

@andy: Why so damn pessimistic?

Now, please explain why there would be a hardware limitation Just to be sure that mobilephone users don't spend their money on more expensive ms? This don't make sence!

because the memory stick duo technology isn't the same as the memory stick duo pro. It's different and I don't think SE are likely to care about this considerring their current roadmap.

Im not being pessimistic, I'm being realistic.

For mp3 storage, wouldn't that take ages to fill? Would you just be better off getting an mp3 player?
