I cant help but this seems like a good thread, P800 isnt like a normal phone so apart from cosmetics I expect theres alot to look for.

I know for sure to check the condition of the screen (i keep hearing about the pins and stuff and it being very fragile)

Need to knwo what SW is on it and what apps (if there are any dodgy ones)
if it's been rebooted and how often
if the previous owner has ever had it taken back to SE and why
if there's dust under the screen...
erm... if the flip fits and comes off normally (not broken or loose or anything)

erm....

help me out, there's prolly lots more to think of right??

Test this:

1. Dead pixels
2. Bluetooth (turn it on, try pairing with another BT device if you can)
3. Infrared
4. Make a phonecall.
5. Make sure the screen has little to no noticeable scratches
6. Take pictures with the camera. Look at them on the phone
7. Play sounds over the speaker

SW is minor, that can easily be updated
