We have all been wondering if the Pro will work, there is no Proof that it will and there is no Proof that it wont! it could infact work! but without the Pro features(The super fast speed).

I have this little strange feeling that it might work(I could be very wrong!!!) but if you think about it, There is no other device that it would work for! name one device that can take a DUO PRO??? Nothing can?? There is a walkman coming out but its not out yet! And we are also not sure if it takes the PRO or not!

The Duo Pro comes out in OCT!

Who will buy it and see if it works or not???

Im crossing my fingers

we know it wont work as memory stick pro's dont work, and as the duo is only a smaller version of the memory stick, and the fact that all the contacts are the same and nothing is different we know IT WONT WORK.

The p800 is limited to 128mb at the moment, this could of course, maybe, be sorted out with a firmware upgrade, or even incorperated into the p900?

this has been said so many times now....

I was not aware that someone has tried a memory stick pro, Is this true??

what did you mean by -

and the fact that all the contacts are the same and nothing is different we know IT WONT WORK.

No one has proved this yet -The p800 is limited to 128mb at the moment

This might be said over and over but has not yet worked out!

What do you mean? a memory stick pro was tried months ago, that was why everyone was trying to make memory stick apadters for their phones and the emergence of the memory stick jacket.

What I meant about the duo was that a duo is exaclty the same as a normal memory stick, there is nothing different apart from the size and weight, and maybe colour, lol. The hardware is the same and therefore it makes no difference if your using a normal memory stick or a duo.

Hope that clears things up for you.

Basically the p800 will only accept pro sticks if a firmware upgrade on the memory stick reader is feasible, which I'm hopeful for as it is availabe for other devices.

If you go on my-symbian you will realise that this was discussed many months ago, you can also ask the creators of the memory stick jacket, they will also say pro sticks DONT work.

Sorry to break it to you pal, we all want more storage on our p800's, but for the meantime we cant have it all in one card.

The p800 is not limited to 128mb according to SE, so why the hell arent there any larger capacity cards available at the time of the launch of the p800? WTF? guess the corporate money making machine has some plans for us hmmm?
