I just bought a SE T68m yesterday and I was very happy to have a sophisticated cellphone but when I tried to send SMS to the philippines, it won't send and saying number is not permitted. By the way my Sim Card is Family, means restricted numbers only embedded from the simcard. I tried to send SMS to my friend that included in my unrestricted numbers and it sent w/o any problem.
I hope someone could help me before I get frustated he he he.

hopefully will work with regular simcard. but I was using nokia phone with the same simcard and I can send sms to any cellphone. I am not going to buy a regular simcard because STC here is suck. you have to pay 2000 Sar to get a regular simcard without any letter from your company.
It means, I can use sms to nokia to anyone and can't with SE T68 with the same simcard then where should I go? Absolutely STC will tell me that the problem is in the phone. I'm frustating now....

Try this, change the + sign to 00, that is b4 the country code or vice versa. Then tell me if that solves the problem :-) This post was posted from a T68

yap tried it with + and 00 but still not permitted. I called the GSM hotline and said "it's a logic, if the simcard is working with nokia then no problem with the simcard". whew.. my friend told me to go to the shop where I bought this phone and ask maybe they know how to solve it.

Well it suposed to be like that but its not we encountered that problem with r380, r320, 6210 and our t68. Those are some of the fons we have in the ofc i dont know if other fon experienced that. Its a kinda strange thing but even us dont know if the problem is with our unit or with the sp. It hapens once in a blue moon :-) and that changing the plus sign solves the problem, btw we are all using regular line. We also try changing the + sign of the messge service center :-) hope it make sense :-) This post was posted from a T68
