When the T610 was just introduced with its pics flowing everywhere in this forum, I posted a survey on how many love/hate its design. The result was something like 60% love it and 40% dislike it.
The question now is, how many who felt that way have since change their minds? From hating it to liking it and from liking it to hating it?

I cant say I hated the looks at first but I was a bit sceptical I must admit. Even when I saw it in real life the first time I wasnt conviced, but having used it for a whie changed my oppinion. It is very functional in its design indeed and the looks are just as hi teck as required for a phone of its calibre.

shifting eyes from a sexy T68m/i to a flat-sided T610 wasnt quite easy at all the first time.
but then you suddenly realize the class that flat-sided, sleek design holds. with that gloss black, brushed aluminum... harmony.. class.. perfection in simplicity.
of course, still, to each his own.

yeah I have to admit the very first picture I saw of the T610 I though "what the hell have SE done?"
Now looking back at the T68i which I gave to my brother it looks really dated in comparison.

Same story here. First time I saw T610 I though:- the looks of this phone is going to be the reason I won't buy it. I thought the person who designed it had to be blind. A few weeks later, I loved the design. It was just a big change to get used to. Now anything with curves looks almost tacky...

yeah, the design of t610 is one of a kind. no other cellphone manufacturers have matched the conceptual design like SE did.

I'm the same, only ever having seen pics of it on the net I thought " you what? its huge and ugly" but the first time I saw it in the store I fell in love with it, a real classy looking phone.

I have to say when I first saw the image of T610, I hated it as it's just a rectangular box. But I admit to the fact that the more I see it, the more I apreciate it. I should think it's one of

's daring design after the curvy T68. Also, I really like the drain edges at both sides of T610, so comfortable to grip.

I think the design just takes some getting used to... When I was first looking for a phone, I found the most immediately alluring handsets were flip phones, especially Samsung models, and almost completely overlooked the T610, because it tends to look uglier in photos than in real life...
Luckily I'm not much of an impulse buyer, and the more I researched, the more I kept getting drawn back to the T610.
Now I genuinely find the sleek, sexy, solid lines of the T610 far more sophisticated and attractive than the plasticky chunkyness of practically all other models... it just oozes class and quality. Shame the plastic upper section isn't the most practical thing in the world...
Well thats my two cents anyways..
