hi does anyone know how to get the navigation software for my p800 in Australia ( sydney ) ?? Thanks

donno bout gps software but when i was in sydney it said my location undearneath the servive provider you dont need software for that

The cell infoformation you are mentioning is totally dependant on what is the nearest cell that is giving you your signal... it can be 2 or 3 suburbs away in my experience and certainly not usable for navigation.

I can't help with the P800 info you request but I can thoroughly recommend the Garmin Street Pilot III with the City Navigator Australia which I find to be an excellent product.

checkout wayfinder.com - I use the service since a month back and it is simply put GREAT! The service covers Europe and soon also the US. I'm not sure about Australia though...

Here:s an extract from the Wayfinder web page:
