Am at the edge of my chair with money in hand £260 ready to buy an SE T610.
But there seems to be one question in my mind that I can't seem to get over. ("If not this then what")
My question is if not the SE T610 then what are the alternatives on the market that meet the same specs
Please advice.

Knowing what I know now, and based on my phones, i´d probably have a few sleepless nights deciding between Siemens S55 and SE T610.. the way I see it the Siemens has:
Better camera 640x480 and flash
Better java implementation
Better filesystem, you can erase _everything_ you don´t need/want
You can change SMS notification to whatever tune you want.
Plays .MMF-files as well as .MID
You can do FW-upgrades @home
Programmable shortcuts via num-keys
As it is becoming yesterday´s news, the price has dropped to where it´s an absolute bargain! (I´m talking Swedish prices here)
T610 has:
Better screen (except in glaring sun where it´s pretty hit and miss..
)
Java AND Mophun
Better poly-synth and ability to play .IMY
Built-in camera
Some parts of UI better thought out than Siemens (and vice versa actually.. oh well, can´t have it all in ONE phone apparently
)
Slightly better standby and talk time (Yes i know that paper figures differ more than slightly, but i´m talking IRL figures here)
UI better looking, a bit like comparing KDE 2.* with Mac OSX

There is nothing on the market with equal spec in a pocketable size. You already have a t68, go for the t610.

What about the new seimens
sx1? It looks fantastic. The 3650 has the weird annoying keypad, and feels very plasticy. But i do like my T610. And am working on fashioning some sort of fabric screen to stop glare!

The Nokia 3650 is a GAY phone and there is no way am choosing that over SE T610.
As for the Seimens SX1 very sexy phone. But that's not out as yet. I was thinking along the lines of purchasing the phone within the week.

get a p800 m8, no way is the t610 worth £260 (if thats how much you gonna get it for). someone sold their p800 for £150-180 last week here on esato, so if you can find a p800 at £200, its a bragin
