boyi is right. it seems that all (??) your contacts are stored in your SIM, rather than the phone's internal memory. Move them to the phone.

I ve deleted all my contacts from my SIM then it says 'List is empty'
but I have contacts in my phone list
by the way i was wrong mine is r5a too but i thing its another version
in SW Information its:
030409 2104
104CXC125376
030409 2154
104CXC125326_TAE
LCD SW Versions
Test: 200109110
Current: 200109110
Customization MS
CDA 102103/50 R5A
Customization TAE
CDA 102103/50 R5A
what all this mean? and why still I have this problem?
its kind annoying cause the phone contact list is better than SIM
it has the grouo feature where i can put home, work, etc... in 1 contact
damn it...

Just after I posted my reply I went to another friend's home to check his software version and its R6A but works just like mine
could it be TIM [my GSM provider] that made that to the phones they sold?
I mean, they change the wallpaper and stuff can they change it too?
Oh
i almost forgot to tell
i mailed brazilian sonyercisson service and they dont know how to help me
isnt that great?

Hi there!
homemdelata, I'm from Brazil too, and I'm having the same problem.
I've searched all the internet but it seems that nobody knows what's wrong with my phone.
I've asked Sony Ericsson and they don't know what's happenning.
By the way: I'm a TIM user too.
If I hear something I'll let you know.

Perotas
i think I got good news for us
i contact sony ericsson by phone and they said its only some software difference [as i understood its not the version but some kind of variation i guess] then the girl said to me to enter in contact with the reseller near me but she warned that ill have to pay for that "upgrade"
as a genuine brazilian Im used to have everything billed
but when I contacted the reseller they told me that I have a 1 year warranty for free for this kind of upgrade
now i cat ask for sure
Isnt that great?
Ill try to take my phone there tomorrow then Ill let you know
