Yep its possible to take pics and store them on the separate cam, once u have entered ur sim pin code, and the phone says, "insert correct sim" leave it alone until the time appears on the screen, then plug ur camera in and press the button on the side, it should connect

You'd have to connect the cam to a different phone (with working sim) to send the pictures on tho...
