Hmmm, these threads ("I want to know what your favourite colour is...") are a tad annoying!!

However, and as can be gleened from reading the threads on this forum, OGG player tends to be the preferred, as the *very* decent OGG player is free, whilst the .OGG files are about a third the size of a similar quality .MP3 file.

Oggplay. The user interface is much better. Also you can forward and rewind tracks instantly to get to a bit u wanna hear. With the standard mp3 player you have to start from the begining.
Oggplay all the way.

Well if you are using unreal player you can do the same thing, and it also supports mp3PRO which a 64kb/s track sounds better than a 128kb/s mp3 regular file and uses half the space!!! I have even run at 40 kb/s and it still sounds good with great bass response, and seeing all the files i use on my puter' are mp3PRO anywayz... seemed like the logical choice for me

Unlike OGGplay, Unreal is *NOT* free.

I have never been able to get OggPlayer to work, I convert MP3s to Ogg Vorbis using Sound Forge, but whenever I try to play an .ogg on the phone I get the error "kern exec 3" or something and the program closes. Any ideas?

Cheers.
