Does anyone have any experience with installation of certificates on a Sonyericsson P800?
The manual claims that's it's enough to merely visit a website with a certificate to have it installed automatically.
That's not true.
I have found out that I can install certificates my self if I have them in a binary format - also called a .der format.
I have tried that from a website called:
http://www.europki.org/ca/root/ca_cert/en_index.html
Then I tried to installed the certificate from this website called:
http://www.kmd-ca.dk/installer_rodcertifikat.htm (click on Installér KMD-CA Servers rodcertifikat)
My P800 won't have it - it says "Could not complete addition".
Please note that the format is in .cer format and not .cer format. I then had the company from
http://www.kmd-ca.dk send me their certificate in a .der format (the binary format) but with the same result
It's very hard to find content about this specific problem on the net - even Sonyericssons supporters aren't used to this specific question.
