Damn this is frustrating,
Im using orange Pay as you go.
I need the settings, iv looked at the ones on the other main post and they dont work,
the main thing i dont know what to use is the "Connect Using"
Details:
Connect using: ???
Protocol: pop3
Incoming server: 195.137.42.7
incoming port: 110
mailbox: my
e-mail@hotmail.com
password: my hotmail pass
outgoing server:smtp.orange.net
outgoing port: 25
E-mail: my
E-mail@hotmail.com

The 'connect using' option needs to be set to look at one of the data accounts (in the Connectivity menu). The account you choose depends on how you want to access your email - via dial-up or GPRS.
Also I'd have thought that the SMTP server shouldn't be smtp.orange.net if you're trying to access Hotmail, but rather it should be the address of the hotmail server. But I'm not positive about that.

I don't think just selecting the Orange Wap option works. I've been able to send/receive emails two ways:
1) Creating a new data account and using Freeserve as my ISP.
2) By selecting the option Orange GPRS Internet, but with you being on payg I don't know if that'd be available.
You'll need to make sure you've got the correct pop and smtp server addresses also, which I imagine you can find on the Hotmail site or probably somewhere else in this forum.

Are you sure you can access hotmail via WAP? I just tried it yesterday and it did not allow me. I think the reason was that it did not recognise the browser. I tried mobile.msn.com
