According to an article on swedish site www.mobil.se, has sold more mobile phones in Sweden during July and August than Nokia! That is probably the first time in MANY years...

IMO, I dun care whether SE will surpass other phones in the market, as long as they make quality phone and dun let success get over their head like a certain N brand

but whitout a good market share and whitout alot of profit the can do less R&D and thats important. and the more phones they would make of one version the cheaper it would be

@gemini:
Are you judging a phone by the sound the casing makes? What about all those nokias with exchangeble covers then? Surely you can't say that T610 is not a quality phone because the battery cover creaks?

[EDIT]
As for 8850, even though it was a quality phone and probably one of the best phones nokia has made, it had it's share of problems which were much worse then an occasional creaking sound. I know, I've used 8850 for more then 2 years (until I switched to ). To mention one such problem - the speaker was not properly shielded, so it would make a slight buzzing sound during a call.

I used an 8890 (the brother of 8850) which is a "quality" phone, but I used it to heat me up at winter rather than talking to people! After 2 five-minute-long calls, it heated up and turned itself off. You had to remove the battery and cool it down before you could restart it. I had one faulty, they changed it, it did all these again and I sold it to someone else at a higher price than I bought (with my 3310) and bought an 8310, which ended up dead (but I sold it for a higher price, too, because it still had warranty) after 3 month and made me meet the "real quality", .

By the way, I'm getting a new "quality phone" for free from my service provider... Well, it's a T300 but who cares; it is FREE & it is !!

I also don't have any "creaking sounds" on my T610. Do you use a T610 or did you hear it from someone else?
