I have one dead pixel. It is allwayz white colour. Its size is like half of normal pixel, so its not too disturbing.
Can i demand form SE to repair this? Is one dead pixel enough?

look at it with a magnifying glass... I think its unlikely to be a dead pixel if you reckon its only half... sounds more likely to be a speck of dust.
Anyway a close up view with magnifying glass will make it obvious one way or the other

It is not whole pixel - maybe one tenth of pixel.. after all it might be piece of white dust

about warranty:
on 1024*768 tft there must be 4 dead pixels , if u want to repair it.
Using that logic, 1 dead pixel on T610 would be more then enough to use warranty. Even 0,1 dead pixel should be enough.. that is not possible however

just be careful taking the phone apart that you don't get even more dust in there. It might be worth leaving it as it may shift out as easily as it got in there.
Sony quoted me 15 dead pixels was their policy before they would consider it a problem. My old vaio R600 only had 1 so they wouldn't touch it!

Well obviously the number of accepted dead pixels is relative to the size of the screen. 15 dead pixels on a 1600x1200 screen is ok compared to 15 on the t610s screen! BTW does anyone know when a pixel is classed as dead, since each pixel has 3 components (for RGB)? Do all 3 sub-pixels have to fail?

Here is the last thread I was involved in with dead pixels and it was reported there that a T610 with dead pixel was replaced.
I also linked to
this good description of a dead pixel (see bottom of page).
I think if any one of the transisters fails then the pixel is considered dead.
