Anyone currently using this who would recommend it as an app?

Not interested in trying the demo.

I have used both the underground and rail maps and they are very useful. I installed and then removed the street map. Its only useful for a tourist (Central London only, not useful for someone who lives here.) Its also quite big so, if you are short on space wouldn't recommend it.

both applications are very handy for finding your way about London i think, its cooler than messing about with two different paper maps.

I have been using it on my Ipaq since it became available (and in fact beta tested the Sydney version) and find it invaluable when in London.

I purchased the original Tube (v1.01), then Pro (v1.02). I'm currently beta-testing v1.03, and it seems to have fixed the problems of the earlier versions that some encountered, whereby it was massively memory intensive.

If you commute into London, or travel to/around there regularly, then it's a must-have app, and a snip at the price.

V1.03 is now released and fixes the high memory requirement of previous versions when loading the street maps.

To get the latest version drop sales@visualit.co.uk an email

You could always plan your journey before you get on the tube I suppose

I use my phone on the tube all the time and mostly get looks of ..."what the hell is he doing!!"
But you're right, wouldn't use it late at night and on some dodgy lines!!
