Anyone who knows if there is such software ?
You can open the .ESC files in winrar/winzip but canīt edit them. I need to know if there is anyway of editing(remove stuff from) a backup file.

I know, as you have indicated, that you can use a zip program to open the backup file. But if you are saying that you cant delete something from the backup file (something I have yet to try). Then I guess the solution is to purchase a copy of PKZIP (the original and best Zip program). I havent used the Windows version of PKZIP but I would guess that it is able to edit zip files.

I know what you mean - I managed to edit them fine in Winrar but then the SE backup won't play with them anymore.
Not sure why but I found a way around my problem so I didn't bother to persist.
