So, picture this...

It's the middle of the night. All the lights are off in the house - nothing but pitch black. Then, all of a sudden, the sound of the p800's message alert tone breaks the earie silence. The room is now illuminated with the light eminating from the p800.

You instantly pick up the phone, and it reads "1 NEW MESSAGE". You quickly press "READ"... Automatically the light goes off!!! (and not because you took long to react to reading the message, or that the lights timeout has comeup...)

Now I ask, how stupid is this??? How the hell are you supposed to read a message in the dark!!!!

Please tell me that theres a way to fix this problem - I've already upgraded to R2F...

Come on SE, just try and fix the minor problems first before trying to come up with new functions - because they are the one that matter the most.

UnrealPlayer messes the function of the light up... make sure it's turned off.

I dont have unreal player...

I have handyday, and with this app the light not coming on wasnt a problem with flip off. But I have now replaced my flip (far more convenient!) and therefore, when I get a message I dont use handy day to read message.

Happens ALL the time. Then to get light on again I have to roll the jog dial!

Is this a problem with all R2F users? Or is it just my 1?

i8 have r2f and the light stays on for 30secs then turns off a quick flick of the jog dial its back.

The only complaints i have is with the camcoder app whilst watching movies the screen light goes off then eventually the power save kicks in. I have to disable theese features all the time and some times forget to put the settings back to normal leaving to heavy power useage. hopefully boys at phillips will fix this in the next release.
