Hello all,
A mate of mine wants an "old Phone" ringtone like the Sony Ericsson one, for his nokia 6100.
He doesn't mind paying!
Anybody know of a site with it on?
Cheers,
Chris.

surely that would be the same as sending the tone to him via infra red? The tone would still be in the wrong format?
Cheers,
Chris.

Siemens has used .midi since ME45 albeit mono in that one
My S55 (and all *55īs) Plays .midi 16-voice. The S55 plays .MMF as well.
I too think the reason the Nokia wonīt play "Old phone" is due to the low-budget sound chipset.
The Nokia original tunes sounds really crappy in S55 too.. seems like they donīt use the standard midi voices/instruments, for example cricket.mid plays with piano sound in my S55

The 6100 does support midi files. The IrDA on Series 40 nokias is useless for sending/receiving anything other than contacts directly. To send images and ringtones you'll need a pc with IrDA/data cable and then use either Nokia PC Suite, Oxygen Phone Manager or Mobi MB.
