I Live in South Africa and GPRS is VERY VERY expensive here.
we pay about $4.5 US per Megabyte..
to me that is a bit ridiculous....
is there any way i can Free GPRS???
Please help...

I am afraid not. You are charged based on the APN you use and you can only use your network's APN. Some operators even require a username and password for the data accounts. You'll just have to wait. The prices used to be enormous here as well. Now we even have unlimited WAP GPRS for only 4 USD/month.

In the UK, Voda rates vary between £2.38-7.50 per MB !!!! Tho' there are 'deals', such as add-on packs of £18 data for £9 per month, £36 for £18 etc.

on T-Mobike UK, u can get 100Mb's for £10 and it ca be used for any GPRS data usage (WEB or WAP).
