i have a t68i with GPRS. my GPRS works perfectly and i have a email account which works perfectly on my t68i but my mms does not work.

i got the settings from the website, but when i send a mms it says gprs failed or wrong APNS or "user barred"

whats with this. my gprs and gsm settings all work, and i can browse on the net fine, i recieve emails daily from my somethings@o2.co.uk email account but my MMS does not work!, any suggestions?

thx

well im with o2 pay monthly and i can use gprs and everything, it all works, and my gprs and email access is all free, i dont know why but i havnt been charged. i have tried download each settings of the o2 website for mms, and tried sending using gprs and gsm, but i either get "user barred" or "worng apn" something like that.

i dont know what to do

is GPRS supposed to be free on o2 if you pay monthly, i have no bundles in my contract saying free gprs or free data stuff like that.

Some network operators require you to call their helpedesk and specifically ask for the activation of the MMS service. Have you done that? You might also need a different APN for MMS. You must also enter the server address in Multimedia\\Options. This message was posted from a WAP device

ive fixed it, on my t68i, ok this is what i did, went to to o2 downloaded the settings of the web for mms pay and go, installed em on my phone as new accout, then i called up o2 and you have to ask them to enable mms on your phone, it takes 24hours, then try, it worked for me.

by the way when u mms, make sure it uses ur GPRS account to connect and not the setting profle u downloaded from o2.

i hope this helps- if u havnt phoned o2 to enable mms and you have probelms, i suggest you phone em.

thx, now instead of "user barred" i get "message accepeted message sent", i tried sending it to my self and it works!

try this and reply if it works

Yeah, I've got the same problem: downloaded the settings and also requested the MMS profile settings from customer services (o2-UK) and I still get jack-schit.

What's a guy gotta do to send picture messages?

bad luck really. o2 are well known for their bad service. i'm an online cust, so it's 50ppm for me to call them.. emailing them usually takes 5-7days for a response. i've sent them 7 emails now to get this sorted. 3 went unanswered, 3were answered by telling me to refer to their website, which i already stated i had! if the next one isn't satisfactory, i'm going to oftel! absolutely shocking...
