Hey everyone,
I am going onto BT Mobile tommorow and my phone is tied to Orange, does anyone know how I can unlock the phone so it will take any network ? I did a search but couldnt find anything.

Saw this link posted somewhere a couple of days ago - can get your fone unlocked remotely for £15. No need to send it away. I haven't tried it myself.

To use remote unlocking you will need a T28 serial data cable.
This is what my cable was described as:
- Fully DRS-10 and DRS-11 compatible.
- Standard 9 pin RS232 connector for connection to PC.
- Contains zener diodes to protect the phone.

If you contract with Orange has expired you can request the unlock code from them. If you have the code, you can unlock the phone yourself (takes 3 seconds) without any special equipment/cables
