Anyone can help me here?
I want to transfer all P800 contacts to my PC (WinXP)- Outlook2002.
Connection (USB cable) between P800 and PC is fine.
Backup/Restore works fine.
Installing programs and transferring files works fine.
Syncin' Calendar and Tasks works fine !!
However, I cannot get my P800 contacts into my PC.
To start with, I emptied all contacts in Outlook.
I have tried ALL settings I could possibly find.
This is the behaviour:
When I force full Sync (keep items on phone and change on PC) I get the message "initialising"... Then a pop-up comes up from Outlook "A program is trying to get access to Outlook"... I choose "allow access for 10 minutes"...
Then ... nothing happens for 10 seconds.
Finally I get the message: "Sync is completed".
However, not 1 contact has been transferred to my PC.
Contacts in my Outlook is empty.
Anyone seen this?

What back-end is your Outlook connected to? If it is Exchange you are supposed to run Outlook in offline mode (see the readme). Offline mode sucks for me, but my Contacts wouldnt sync reliably online (I'de get maybe 150 out of 250). I moved my Contacts to a PST, told the SE software to sync from there instead and now I have super reliable syncing.

My Outlook (at home) is running off-line (stand alone).
All my P800 contacts are synced with my Outlook at work.
At home I only want a one-way sync from P800 to my PC...
So far this only works for my calendar and my tasks.
Contacts will not sync (says "done" after 10 seconds, while I have over 250 contacts...???).
