i've read that the T68i supports POP3, IMAP ... not like the T68 that supports only the T68...does that mean that I can check my hotmail account from the phone finally????

Hotmail is a web-based email service and does not support POP3/SMTP/IMAP protocols.

IMAP is a protocol, which is used to retrieve email from an email server.

Hotmail does not use IMAP - it is a webmail provider. This link explains what IMAP is:

so what kind of emails I can check through IMAP....I know I can check yahoo...forget hotmail....what else? what's my options to use the email feature in the T68 or the T68i's....

With the T68m, any email server that supports POP3. With the T68i, any email server that supports POP3 and/or IMAP4. My company mail server uses both POP3 and IMAP4, as an example.
