With regard to your enquiry, the release of the new T68i is as a flagship
for the joint venture 'Sony Ericsson'.
This handset has various functionality differences which include:-
More advance contact editing functions,
More advanced memory capacity,
Various sound, ringtone and picture editing functions,
The ability to download more than one background picture, screensaver or
ringtones,
Cosmetic enhancements,
Further security abilities, along with a built in email client functioning
on POP3 and IMAP4.
Enhanced standby and talktimes.

Now, I've read already the T68i has more memory (1MB I'm told) ... and yet I read in these (and other) forums that with a firmware upgrade a T68m could be the same ... I don't see how if the T68i has more phyiscal memory.
Even if everything else is the same, phyiscal memory could make quite a difference.
