Im trying to send an MMS with the T610 and i got an error... 'No licence fee or overload'! What the heck does that mean!?!

I got my T610 only yesterday. This is also when i had GPRS and MMS activated on my sim. I sent one MMS yesterday to a T-mobile number and it was sent fine. A few hours later, i try to send another and since then iv been getting 'communication error' or 'Communication error. Try again or contact your wap provider'. Is anyone else getting these errors?

Im on O2 singlepoint pay monthly contract.

Much appreciated,

ThrillSeeker

Maybe your SP has limited the filesize of MMS:s. Like for example Vodafone in Sweden who has set the limit to ~34kb...
Go to your SPīs homepage and check if they got some kind of limit. Or you just could make the mms smaller and try to send it again. Good Luck mate

Cheers for the reply mate.

When i go to the mms i want to send and click on options followed by information, the mms is only 2kb. So its not that big. If it doesnt work tomorrow then i will phone Singlepoint.

Is anybody else on o2 having difficulty sending MMS?

Hi mate. 1st post so be gentle!

I got a T610 on Friday. I am on O2 PAYG 300 free txtx&Wap.

I have not been able to send MMS since i got the phone unlcoked.

I spoke to O2 yesterday and they said my sim needed updating for GPRS and MMS and that this would take place in 24 hours.

Tried again toady - wouldnt work again.

Called them again and she said that they were having problems with their GPRS and MMS servies and to try again in 24 / 48 hours.

Dont worry, i dont have that many posts anyway!

Well basically, after some experimenting, it seems that although the mms was failing on the phone, it was actually going through and the recipient was recieving my messages. Where as on other occasions, the mms would send on the phone but the reciepient would recieve up to 3 copies of it.

Well anyway, it works sometimes and sometimes it doesnt. But when it doesnt work, it is really working! I just hope im not getting charged for all those times i thought it was failing!

Thanks for your replies!

Hi!

Got my se610 a week ago and cannot send mms. Have the proper settings but get the message "communication error". I thought it had to be an operator( telenor, djuice) problem but nope.. When I try to download mms settings from telenor thid doesnt work and telenor cannot answer why. however downloading the same settings from the se.com page works but I can still not send mms? I have gprs settings and wap works perfectly.. What to do???
