I have my T610 for almost 4 months now and recently I started noticing that my phone just hangs up in the middle of a conversation. Nothings wrong with my network and nothings wrong with the other persons network, we all have a full network bar. When it happens, the other person first can't hear me, but I can hear them screaming "hello.. heeeeeeeeello... are you there" and then my phone just hangs up. Is this a software error?? Did someone else expierence this or is it just my phone or maybe it is my network??

dont worry about that its your network thats f*cking...

if you want to worry i can tell you that the T610 i known for a short-lived phone cuz of dust getting in the joystick and speakerhole and this will result in sudden phone death

No.
The dust isn't in the main circuts.
And even if it was, have you seen how much dust there usually is in a PC?

I haven't seen anyone else then you write this about T610
so imho it's not known for that and I won't go and worrie
about it either. So far the T610 has gotten alot less dust in it
then previous phones I had and they didn't die because of it.

deuxani: Sounds like network for me. Can you try using a sim for another network? Then you would know for sure.

When I had my T68, sometimes I would hang up because I pressed the phone to hard against my face and pressed the button. Maybe this is happening to you?

no you are wrong guys!

take a look into the loudspeakerhole!

i think they have made it too big and that results in ..... dust

if you take a look at an old nokia f ex like the 6210 or whatever, there is no such entrance for dust as it is in the 610

Ok, thanks all for your reply's!! Guess my phone doens't show the networkstatus too accurate then, huh.

And about the dust, I have to agree, the speakerhole is pretty big and I see a bit of dust inside of it, that's why I always keep it in dustfree places and clean it alot hahaha.

@dana

stop freaking out about dust in your phone. ALL phones will get dusty, just look after it. By a case for it or something.

As for the problem with the phone just ending calls... my t68i did this, but then someone pointed out that you can accidently press the end call key when talking. I'm sure thats the main reason for this hapening. If not then its o2.

I'm with T-Mobile. But it's definately not that I'm hanging it up by mistake. Cause people first don't hear me at all, I start looking at my phone if I have a network connection, which I have, I still hear them calling my name, and then I see my phone (or maybe theirs) hang up. And I always keep the phone a cm from my ear when I'm calling, cause the display always gets dirty . I have a week 21 phone, maybe a software upgrade will do the trick.
