> T610 problem

hi i have done a search and could not find anything relating to this.
I have an orange t610 week 24 production, firmware R1A081.
My problem is when sending texts. If i send it to a number on my sim card it gets delivered fine, but if i send a message to a number stored in my phonebook i get message delivered but message is never received by other people. Any ideas? is it a faulty phone or do i need a firmware upgrade, if so what is the latest?

I've never heard of that problem with the t610. I've seen it with my own eyes with a panasonic GD87, but not the t610. Try doing a master reset, put your sim card back into the phone and copy all contacts on your SIM to your phonebook memory and then try again.
If the problem still persists and no one on this forum can help you out ring up SE and take it to your service centre.. you'll still have warranty.

hi thanks for the reply. I did a master reset, had thought of that but was reluctant as didnt want to lose everything. Anyhow did it, and entered all names and numbers into phonebook manually instead of copying from sim and all seems to be working ok now. Thanks
