My T39 cable dont work with my T68i, so I`m gonna gt a new one, or should I go for an Ir device?
Any recommendations?

Get the IrDA, you'll be able to use it on any phonwe with infra red, lets face it you could soon replace your T68i with another brand, e.g. Nokia.

I can reccomend the Mobile Action MA600 (serial/RS232) which I use on both Nokia 8210 and T68
but there is a new USB version: MA620 USB Infrared Adapter
They also include software/drivers right up to WindowsXP

Yeh i gotta MA600 it is very good. Definitely go for Infra Red it is a lot better than cable.
