Hi i have the following settings on my phone
Wap profile
O2
Connect using: O2 Wap Gprs
Ip:193.113.200.195
User id: o2wap
Password: password
homepage: wap.o2.co.uk
Data Comm
O2 wap Gprs
APN: wap.o2.co.uk
user id: o2wap
password: password
allow calls: auto
Ip: 193.113.200.195
Dns: nothing entered
My phone shows the icon above the signal strength but is is not "filled in" as shown in the manual when gprs is available. I can use this sim in my old orange SPV nd connnect to GPRS straigt away, I have tried downloadig the setings from ericsson which didnt work and when i try to get them from o2 their server times out and sends nothing. Can anyone help, im begining to suspect the phone cause as far as i can see all my settings are correct, and the sim has worked perfectly for months in an SPV. When i try to connect the T610 says "connecting" then after about a minute that just disappears, no error message is reported.
Thanks for any help

I get this problem as well with my pay as you go o2 sim, immediate signal in a t39 t68. But for some unknown reason i have to wait 4 hours for the t610 to register gprs.

I seem to get the same problem on Orange pay as you go. Sometimes the gprs doesn't work even when the blue triangle is filled in. However i found that this happens in my room and if i go into another room the problem seems to go away. When it doesn't work the connecting screen appears but never reaches the loading stage when the little globe icon appears. Anyway i thought GPRS was supposed to be connected all the time or something like that.
