Ok im a extreme newbie to WAP so please forgive me for anything stupid im about to say. I just bought a new T68i on T-mob (UK). I have CSD WAP working loveley. And in my phone pack it says This mobile is set up to provide WAP using GPRS and delivers fast access... blah blah. So when I chose the GPRS profile and try to surf it seems to time out after 44 seconds. Now im not using the new simcard that came with my phone. Rather the very old one ive had for years, in fact it used to be a one2one sim
Now do I need a sim that is compatible with GPRS? Its still a T-mob just a old card. Id try the other but I have no credit on it and dont want to top it up for no reason. I have £13 on my old sim. Thanx in advance. Oh and cold you somewhat tone down any explanations so a idiot (me) could understand it

First thing - you would need to use the new sim card...but secondly...
t mobile do not support gprs on payg services.... i found out the hard way!

Wow that sucks bigtime, im very disapointed in T-mobile on not making this more clear. And getting hold of a Servise advisior is realy hard nowadays. Anyway, thanks both of you for your help.

On the t mobile automated menu, go to:
option 2 (customer services main menu);
option 3 (check services): then;
option 3 (access to disability services)
then you should get through to customer services (open 7am to 10pm.....that is only way i have been able to speak to an advisor on a t mobile payg phone.... i have also had immense trouble recieving mms messages on it, even though it is a t68i, which worked when it was on orange.
